Did you know that tens of thousands of elephants are killed each year for their ivory? In 2013, 20,000 elephants were poached. That is about 55 elephants a day!
Martin Guitar refuses to be a contributor to this atrocity. That why in the 1970's, we began to phase out the usage of ivory. Since then, Martin Guitar has continued to develop and use materials that we believe comply with our sense of enviromental stewartship. In 2013, we stopped using Preserved Mammoth Ivory and are pleased to say it has been completely removed from our supply chain.
We feel an obligation to stop ivory trade and save elephants! That's why we teamed up with the Nature Conservancy in Africa to save the 430,000 elephants that can be found in Africa today.
